Raymond is a former tenured professor of finance who spent 18 years studying market microstructure and optimal execution. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers, holds two patents on execution algorithm design, and serves on the editorial boards of three academic journals. He leads UTexas's research lab and maintains an active publishing schedule.
Dr. Catherine Yue
Co-Founder & CEO
Catherine is a computational finance researcher turned entrepreneur. She held faculty positions at two leading business schools before co-founding UTexas, and her work on information asymmetry in limit order markets has been cited over 3,000 times. She oversees company strategy, client relationships, and the UTexas Academy curriculum.
Dr. Henrik Lindqvist
Head of Quantitative Engineering
Henrik leads the engineering team that translates research into production trading systems. He holds a PhD in applied mathematics from Oxford and spent five years as a quant developer at a European systematic fund. He is the architect of UTexas's optimal execution platform and a frequent invited speaker at quantitative finance conferences.
Prof. Amara Diallo
Director of the Academy
Amara runs UTexas Academy, designing curricula and leading instructor recruitment. She is a former associate professor of financial engineering who has taught over 2,000 graduate students across three universities. Her course on market microstructure is consistently rated among the top professional development programs in quantitative finance.
Jonathan Reeves
VP of Technology
Jonathan oversees UTexas's technology infrastructure, including the hosted research platform and production deployment pipelines. Before UTexas, he was a senior engineering manager at a quantitative research firm where he built the backtesting and simulation infrastructure used by over 100 researchers. He holds a master's in computer science from Carnegie Mellon.
